Summer Learning

We aren’t setting tasks over the summer, but we will signpost families to a range of quality resources that you may wish to support children with during the summer break.

One such resource is the excellent Talk4Writing booklets made by Pie Corbett. They are easy to follow, not particularly onerous and are likely to be well received by most children is supported by an adult:

Summer Experiences:

DDAT summer learning experiences are available below. When children complete the six weeks activities, evidence should be emailed to DDAT.summer.experience@ddat.org.uk , they will then receive a certificate by email which can be exchanged for a button badge provided by DDAT upon their return to school. The experiences are fun based for the children’s summer holiday, but are also education linked.
