The PTA at Mapperley is an informal group of parents who wish to support the school. We hold half termly meetings to plan social and fundraising events for the school community.  It doesn’t matter how much or how little you can do to support, as anyone, anytime or anything given is always appreciated. Each year we hold a family event, seasonal fayre, school discos, coffee mornings, picnic in the park and other social events. Some of the events are more social than fundraising offering children, parents, the local community and staff opportunity to socialise outside of school hours. Funds raised go towards a range of different things for school including books, classroom equipment and outside play equipment.

Our PTA provides every child with: their first school book bag, an Easter egg, the Christmas party, with a present from Father Christmas, and a memento for our Year 6 leavers.
